To be eligible for a .id.au the registrant must be an Australian citizen or resident.

When you are ready to use your new Domain Name you can purchase hosting for this service, use our free DNS hosting service or change the NS records.
You can register as many domains as you would like, there is no limit as long as you comply with the relevant domain agreements.
There are people out there who have hundreds, possibly thousands of domain names. You can keep track of your domains in our easy to use Aspire Web Control Panel.
After your domain is registered and in our system you can choose to enable the free DNS hosting on the domain name via the "Actions" menu or from the domain details page (Name Servers tab).
When enabled the Name Server records will be changed to Aspire Web's and you will now have the option to go to our DNS Manager. From here you can add/remove the following records:

- AAAA
- ALIAS
- CNAME
- MX
- SRV
- TXT (1000 Characters)
Also offered is free web forwarding, this allows you to forward any website request to somewhere else.
EG. You may have a sub-domain for some cloud software like login.yourdomain and forward it to http://somesaasprovider/yourcompany so as to simplify the address for your staff.
